January is coming to an end and here comes February. Yet, the temperature here in Puerto Galera is starting go high. For the past few weeks I enjoyed the cold weather here and wish it would stay that way unlike all the tourists here who keeps on wishing and hoping for a Hot weather.
People might find it funny but the truth is I only go out to the beach once a year or twice being the most. Yeah, I live in this magnificent place, white sand beaches, beautiful sea beds, magnificent coral reefs, yet, what is the beauty if everything is just a common thing or place to me, so I decided to not enjoy every piece of Puerto Galera in just one straight adventure. I want to feel like a tourist in a place I live in. Anyway, I am working as a homebased employee so I really spend most of the at home.
For those who are planning to go to Puerto Galera this summer, for sure you will be visiting White Beach (especially if you are a local or asian tourist), most European tourists stay in Sabang due to the clubs and Dive shops. Anyway, if you want a more secluded place I suggest visit Talipanan Beach, It is the last barangay in Puerto Galera, just after White Beach(White Beach then Tamaraw beach then Talipanan Beach).
So, see yah!

Ok, a lot of people are talking about if Google Chrome is better than the other browsers (Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera) and there people who says it is really the best above the competition.
I have been using Google Chrome for quite sometime and I am currently enjoying my experience with Chrome, yet, still there are factors that makes me come back to the traditional browsers especially Mozilla Firefox. Here are some of the reasons why:
1. Google Chrome does not have its own feed reader – There are still a lot of sites who does not use services like feedburner and still showing the conventional rss feed page. If you are using Google Chrome and happen to be on one of this sites. you have no chance to subscribe to its feed unless you switch browser, of course.
2. Google Chrome is fast in executing Javascripts, but some scripts are not working - I can recall the time when I visited a site to register and that site runs ajax to display the login form. I clicked login and waited a good 5 minutes to still see the login script loader to continue say loading. I was pissed off and thought that the site might have problems with their scripts. I decided to close the page and open it thru Firefox and Voila!!! the script loads perfectly.
3. Google Chrome is still having problems on displaying some sites – I surf the net a lot and there are still sites that Chrome doesn’t display correctly.
4. Google Chrome does not support Google Toolbar! – Actually this is one of my frustration. How come they didn’t initially integrate the well known Google Toolbar to their own, self-made browser.
5. Plugins, Plugins, Plugins – This is by far the best thing in a browser that Chrome does not have. Even IE is starting to use plugin so I believe this is the current trend in Web Browser.
So what do you think? Is Chrome better than the rest?

Iiyak na lang
Dati laging magkatabi
Masaya araw at gabi
Magkasukob s iisang bubong
Pareho ang ibinubulong
Mahal kita, Mahal mo rin ako
Habang atin ang mundo
At para bang walang kapaguran
Ang ligayang nararamdaman
Isang iglap lahat ay nag iba
Mga mata ngayo’y may luha na
Di rin pla magkakasundo
Kaya biglang nagkalayo
Iiyak na lang, iiyak na lang
Di mo ba alam mayrong nasasaktan
Iiyak na lang, iiyak na lang
Di mo ba alam ako’y nasasaktan
Dati laging naririnig
Ako lang ang bukang bibig
At para bang ayaw maghiwalay
Pagmagkahawak ang mga kamay
Parang bula damdamin nawala
Kaya ngayon mata’y lumuluha
Di rin pla tau magtatagal
Mayron ka ng ibang mahal
Iiyak na lang, iiyak na lang
Di mo ba alam mayrong nasasaktan
Iiyak na lang, iiyak na lang
Di mo ba alam ako’y nasasaktan
Wooohhh…
Dati laging magkatabi
Masaya araw at gabi
Magkasukob sa iisang bubong
Pareho ang ibinubulong
Iiyak na lang, iiyak na lang
Di mo ba alam mayrong nasasaktan
Iiyak na lang, iiyak na lang
Di mo ba alam ako’y nasasaktan
Iiyak na lang, iiyak na lang
Di mo ba alam mayrong nasasaktan
Iiyak na lang, iiyak na lang
Di mo ba alam ako’y nasasaktan…
[Ubos na ang luha ko
Bumalik ka lang
Alam ko may mahal ka ng iba
Kaya di na ko aasa pa

Here is my personal list of what I miss about the previous year. Year 2008.
7. US Dollar goes to 50 - I am a homebased employee and my salary is in US Dollars, so the higher the conversion of Dollar to Peso the higher my salary is…. :D
6. My Blog Sites - Last year was a very busy year for me. I can’t even recall if I was able to post atleast 10 posts in my 2 blog sites. Anyway, I am trying to make up all the loses and will be more active in blogging starting today.. Yes!!!!
5. My other blog’s Page rank - Yes, I miss my other blog’s PR. My previous web host was hacked by some unknown psychopats and made my sites blocked by Google due to the malwares that was on my sites. Holy shit!!! Thank God I was able to avail the lunarpages promo last year and was able to transfer my sites with 50% saving.
4. Timy and Kimy - Timy and Kimy were my hamsters. They were both killed by a fuckin’ cat who attacked their cage when me and my family were busy unpacking our things on our new house. RIP Timy and Kimy!!!
3. My Dog “Spot” - I really miss my dog so much. I really wished I locked him up in his cage…. He shouldn’t have bitten the washung machine cord while my wife is doing the laundry. RIP Spot!!!.
2. My Age!!! - Damn!!! I am getting older again!
1. Memories - I really miss a lot of great memories from last year. I hope it would be even better this year..

Yeah, just like what the title is saying this is my first post for the year 2009. I have been to busy about anything the past couple of months, but hey! I’m back now…..
I had a great time during the holiday season especially the cold weather, actually everyday seems to be colder and colder and I love it…. One of the thing that made me really happy with the year 2009 was I was able to get a new job as a Homebased Project Manager for a US based web design company. A lot of things happened in the past that almost led me to break down, yet I am happy to be able to cope up and be on my current situation.
like what I have said earlier, it is really getting colder and colder here in Puerto Galera everyday. My fingers are aching now due to the cold climate. I’ll rest for a bit and will follow this post shortly with more thing I want to share.

As of today, November 17 2008, Senator Manny Villar stepped down from his post as the Senate President due to a leadership shake-up which his way for Senator Juan Ponce Enrile to be installed as the new Senate President of the Philippines.
Senator Panfilo Lacson was the one who nominated Senator Enrile and with the support of Senator Richard Gordon along with 14 other senators who voted in favor of Senator Enrile.
Along with Villar, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, chair of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee and Majority Floor Leader Senator Francis “kiko” Pangilinan also resigned from their respective posts.
I have nothing against Senator Enrile or any of those senators who are mentioned here but in my humble opinion, aren’t there already too many issues in our country especially the forthcoming recession and yet they still find time intriguing themselves. I really don’t care who holds the position in our government, no matter who we choose to elect still history repeats itself and not just that, it keeps on getting worse.
I hope the new senate will work on how to resolve problems that matters to the public and not just their position or any personal vendetta to each other.

Google just launched Voice and Video Chat for Gmail last November 11. Now gmail users can check their mails and chat with voice and video capabilities at the same time. The voice and video chat is plugin based and runs on all type of browsers. All you need to do is login to your gmail account and go to the Gmail Voice and Video Chat page. From this page, you can now download the plugin and install it accordingly. The file is about 476 kb so it will not take you a minute to download the plugin. After downloading run the installer and wait for the Google installer to finish and voila, you just enabled Gmail Voice and Video Chat in your Gmail email account.
After installing the plugin, you can start using the video chat by clicking the “video & more” menu at the bottom part of your Gmail chat window and select “Start Video Chat.”
Happy Gmail Video Chatting!!!

It has been 2 years now since I left my place in Las PIñas and transferred here in Puerto Galera. During my first 3 months all I can say is “Wow!” every time I see a wonderful scenic sight. I even got the chance to experience to stay in one of the most expensive resorts here which is the Coco Beach, and not just once but I have been there 5 times in 2 years. I know most of you will think that I am filthy rich because of that but to be honest I was able to stay there for free because of some business transactions made by my in-laws, who happen to be engaged in real estate service here in Puerto Galera.
Puerto Galera is a paradise, a lot of beautiful mountains and beaches, but, nothing is free here (maybe if you have a relative who lives here you can visit for free). The price of all commodities here are too high. When you buy something in a sari-sari store here it seems like you are buying in 7-11 if you are in Manila.
To sum up, Puerto Galera is one great place to spend a vacation. Although people should be prepared about the expenses, always keep in mind that if you want to have a great vacation and you want to experience something new, prepare to spend a lot of money… And for me, It’s really worth it!!!
